Alan Bennion (1930-27 July 2018[1][2][3]) appeared in three Doctor Who television stories, playing different Ice Lords in all three. He appeared as Slaar in The Seeds of Death, Izlyr in The Curse of Peladon and Azaxyr in The Monster of Peladon.

Bennion made his debut in an episode of Send Foster in 1967, after which he appeared on The First Lady, Paul Temple, The Troubleshooters, Softly, Softly: Taskforce, Juliet Bravo and Sorry!. He is also known for appearing in six episodes of Z-Cars between 1968-72.
