Tristan de Vere Cole (born 16 March 1935[1]) directed the Doctor Who television story The Wheel in Space. He was earlier an uncredited production assistant for The Dalek Invasion of Earth (INFO: The Dalek Invasion of Earth) and The Gunfighters[2] with Angela Gordon.

He other credits included the Verity Lambert produced soap opera United!, espionage drama Spy Trap and Terry Nation's post-apocalyptic drama Survivors.
