Richard Martin directed several of the earliest Doctor Who television stories. His work included three episodes of the very first Dalek story, and all the episodes of the next two Dalek stories. Martin also directed episodes of Compact, Quick Before They Catch Us, Elizabeth R, A Family at War, Moody and Pegg, Churchill's People, Crown Court and All Creatures Great and Small. He also appeared in a 1958 TV adaptation of Ivanhoe starring Roger Moore.
