Captain Derek Younghusband was a member of the Home-Army Fifth Operational Corps. He was the cousin of Eileen Younghusband.
History
He was transferred to HAVOC in August 1969.
After two months of training, Younghusband began going on missions with the Corps in October. One of his first missions involved fighting the Fungusmen.
While he was still new to the job, Younghusband visited his cousin Eileen and told her of his encounter with the Fungusmen. (PROSE: The Last Duty)
In late 1969, Younghusband was stationed at Imber to train Gwynfor Evans. (PROSE: The Feast of Evans) Younghusband tasked Tommy Godber with befriending Evans. (PROSE: The Life of Evans)
