Schandel was a war reporter.
Schandel was a time traveller, and possessed a time ship. His ship's IA had told him a Dalek attack would happen on Fergil, so he went there to cover the attack, as well as to try to get an interview with the War Doctor. He helped in the defence of the city knowing that might help him survive. He helped the Doctor trick the Daleks into thinking he had a large weapon. He was killed by a Dalek. (AUDIO: Pretty Lies)
