The mother of Carlos lived in Sunset Park.

She was showing her son to a group of friends when, due to Cerebravore influence, Carlos' face suddenly became horribly disfigured. When the Tenth Doctor came to check on the problem, his psychic field measuring device short-circuited and Carlos reverted to looking like a healthy baby. The Tenth Doctor then told Carlos' mother to stay inside.

She later saw reports of the Cerebravore attacks on the news, and was thankful to the Doctor for his advice. (COMIC: Revolutions of Terror)
