Dexter Braughtigan was a detective sergeant in charge of an investigation in connection with the Purpura Pawn. He knew that Irving Braxiatel wasn't from the city by the size of the rocks round Brax's wrist. He had two children. He tried to take down Brax, as he believed him to behind the crime.
