Fowler was a passenger on the Fata Morgana. He rowed with Aubrey to find out where they were. (AUDIO: The Flying Frenchman) He told Henry Gordon Jago and George Litefoot about how he and the recently dead passenger created the fog. He told them how he discovered the power to do it in a previous expedition. It also haunted him when members of the expedition were being murdered. (AUDIO: Return of the Nightmare)
