James "Jimmy" Jackson was the father of Ben Jackson.

In February 1942, he was a British soldier stationed in Singapore, where he served under Captain Clive Freeman. His friends in the army referred to him as "Jacko". Jackson helped the Second Doctor defeat the Forsaken, and he and Gibbs were were later rescued by a boat. (AUDIO: The Forsaken)
