Rachael Stirling played Ada Gillyflower in the Doctor Who television story The Crimson Horror, which starred her mother, Dame Diana Rigg. She also voiced Demesne Furze in the Big Finish Doctor Who audio story Trail of the White Worm, Adelaine Dutemps in The Monster of Montmartre and Jill Meadows & Silvi in Technophobia. Additionally, she read the short story Little Rose Riding Hood in Time Lord Fairy Tales and Rose and the Snow Window in The Day She Saved the Doctor.

Outside of Doctor Who, she is known for her roles in Tipping the Velvet, Boy Meets Girl, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen and Snow White and the Huntsman.
