Boris Karloff was a film actor who was active during the 1930s and 1940s and was best known for portraying Frankenstein's monster.

Behind the scenes
- Boris Karloff played Frankenstein's monster in the 1931 Frankenstein film, a clip from which featured in the Doctor Who TV movie.
- Karloff was at one point considered for the part of Dr. Who in the planned 1965 radio plays, but was unavailable at the time.[1]
