Lahore

Lahore was a city in the Punjab. (AUDIO: Fallout) In 1909, the immortal Jack Harkness stole diamonds from a mine there. When a Chosen One was accidentally killed by one of his soldiers, the Fairies killed all his men in retaliation, Jack becoming the only survivor due to his immortality. (TV: Small Worlds)

Yasmin Kahn's grandfather grew up in Lahore with his brother. One black-and-white photograph had one of them with a cricket bat, and the other with a ball. Yasmin's grandfather spoke fluent Punjabi. (AUDIO: Fallout)

In 1941, during the Second World War, Prem trained in a regimental centre in Lahore. He reported in a letter to Umbreen that the city seemed different than last he saw it. (PROSE: Letters from the Front)

Umbreen and her mother Hasna fled to Lahore on 18 August 1947 during the Partition of India. Umbreen lived there in the 1950s, before moving to Sheffield. (TV: Demons of the Punjab)
