Gabriel was a friend of Graham O'Brien. The two had met through working at a Sheffield bus station; although by the late 2010's Graham had retired, Gabriel still worked there.

When Graham visited the bus station for answers regarding Tzim-Sha in 2018, he asked Gabriel if he had noticed anything strange lately. Gabriel only told him that his wife going out for karaoke with her friends. (TV: The Woman Who Fell to Earth)
