Clegg was a schizophrenic patient at Hawthorne. He once resided in Room 1, later inhabited by Patient One, before showing significant progress and was moved to Ward 4.
He was murdered on Ward 4 by the reservoir of evil through Patient Zero. His body was discovered by an orderly who called Dr Beatrice Hearst and Dr William Bruffin to the scene.
