Schizophrenia was a serious mental condition. Clegg was schizophrenic and was treated by Dr William Bruffin among other doctors at Hawthorne. Originally confined in the secure ward, he showed progress and was moved to Ward 4 before his murder. (HOMEVID: The Zero Imperative)
