"Abzorbalovian" was a name ascribed by Captain Jack Harkness to the race that came from the planet Clom. (WC: Monster File: Slitheen)

Biology

Abzorbalovians shared several features with Raxacoricofallapatorians such as yellowish-green skin (with a tint of beige), surprising speed, hands and feet with three digits, and a tail. However, they had normal humanoid eye colours, rather than the pure-black eyes of their cousins. They had purplish warts about their bodies. However, the main feature that truly distinguished them from Raxacoricofallapatorians was their human-like head with pointed ears and folds of skin on their cheeks. Absorbed victims would retain their consciousness and appear as faces on an Abzorbalovian's flesh for several days at least. Positions ranged from the stomach, shoulders, chest, back and even buttocks. Once fully digested, the faces of said victims, while clearly deceased, were still somewhat visible. (TV: Love & Monsters)

Technology

"Abzorbaloff" used a limitation field to control his absorption abilities. He also used some sort of technology to appear human. (TV: Love & Monsters)

Culture

Some Abzorbalovians were xenophobic and despised Raxacoricofallapatorians. They would wear little clothing beyond underwear. (TV: Love & Monsters)

Occasionally, Abzorbalovians bred with Raxacoricofallapatorians. A subgroup known as the "Abzorbalovian Rebels" were descendants of the Raxacoricofallapatorian families, Chippeen and Fittereen. (WC: Monster File: Slitheen)

History

The Abzorbalovians were part of the four-world Raxas Alliance along with the Raxacoricofallapatorians and the people of Raxacoricovarlonpatorius and Clix. (TV: The Gift)

The Raxacoricofallapatorian Clom colonists set up a colony on Clom. The Abzorbalovian Rebels were a notorius criminal organisation descended from the Raxacoricofallapatorian Huspick Degenerate. (WC: Monster File: Slitheen)

In early 2007 an Abzorbalovian rebel came to Earth with the intention of finding the Tenth Doctor to absorb him, gain all his knowledge and experience and take his TARDIS. He tracked down LINDA, went to their meeting place and offered to help them find the Doctor. He took over the organisation. While LINDA worked to find the Doctor, he absorbed most of them to feed himself, claiming they simply left the group (Bliss and Bridget) or were currently elsewhere (Mr. Skinner). However Ursula Blake and Elton Pope discovered his true intentions. He then absorbed Ursula and tried to absorb Elton, but the Doctor and Rose Tyler found Elton and delayed the absorption. Before he could absorb Elton, the absorbed victims fought back and the Abzorbaloff died when Elton destroyed his limitation field. Three of his victims died with him, while Ursula survived as a face on a slab of concrete. (TV: Love & Monsters)

In 3764, Clom pulled out of peace talks among the Raxas Alliance. As such, their denizens did not participate in the peace conference on Clix and the ensuing Grand Raxian Hunt against Slist Fayflut Marteveerthon Slitheen and Rose Tyler. (COMIC: Doctormania)
