The Breebles were a "mischievous" and "meddlesome" species. (GAME: Robot Rose)
Breebles competed in the 309th Intergalactic Song Contest, attended by the Seventh Doctor and Mel. They demonstrated their high-pitched, squeaking voices. (AUDIO: Bang-Bang-a-Boom!) At some point, an incarnation of the Doctor destroyed the Breebles' replication pods.
This led the vengeful Breebles to attempt to kill the Doctor in his ninth incarnation: they abducted his companion Rose Tyler and created a robot duplicate of Rose with orders to assassinate the Doctor. However, the real Rose escaped from their grasp and rejoined the Doctor, who was able to tell her apart from the copy because the duplicate had a flawed memory disk and misremembered details of Rose's adventures with the Doctor. She was, for example, under the impression that the Autons had been working for the Slitheen family. The Doctor deactivated the robots, thus escaping the Breebles' assassination plot. (GAME: Robot Rose)
