Chappaquiddick

Chappaquiddick was a small island that gave its name to the Chappaquiddick incident in which Edward Kennedy, after a party during the Edgartown Regatta at Martha's Vinyard, drove his car off a bridge and into the harbour. Kennedy survived but his passenger, secretary Mary Jo Kopechne, drowned. (PROSE: Who Killed Kennedy)
