The Diabola Club was a gentleman's club in 18th century London. Its members indulged in drinking, gambling, wenching and gossiping. Known members in 1702 included Sir Nikolas Valentine, Quincy Flowers, Edmund Carteret and Jasper Jeake. Dr Samuel Holywell was made a member in gratitude for his help in defeating Valentine.
