George Spenton-Foster directed the Doctor Who television stories Image of the Fendahl and The Ribos Operation. Tom Baker described him as a "lovely, camp old thing".[1]
He also directed episodes of Out of the Unknown (on which he also served as associate producer on the first two seasons) and Blake's 7.
