Simon was the first husband of Polly Wright.
Simon and Polly attended a cricket match while she was pregnant with their son Mikey. They were annoyed that three girls, Tegan, Peri and Erimem, were having a conversation, blocking their view of the game. Simon and Polly got into an argument with the three girls. (PROSE: Graham Dilley Saves the World)
In an alternate timeline where Polly was manipulated into interfering with temporal nexus points, she found herself at the cricket match. She defended her younger self against the three girls, and the ensuing argument distracted Graham Dilley long enough for him to drop a catch, which was the event Peri and Erimem were trying to prevent.
