Spinward Corporation was a major human corporation formed by the merger of Eurogen Company and the Butler Institute, which became EB Corporation and then Spinward.

History[[edit] | [edit source]]

In 2107, Eurogen Company and the Butler Institute merged to form Eurogen Butler, generally known as the EB Corporation. In 2112, their first warpship was commissioned. Arcadia was one of their first settlements. (PROSE: Deceit)

In 2142, Eurogen Butler came to the planet Dimetos and set up a mining colony. The corporation left the planet in 2151. (PROSE: Another Girl, Another Planet)

In 2157, the IMC ship Insider Trading had EB Corporation ocular replacements in its medbay. (PROSE: Lucifer Rising)

In the late 22nd century, Eurogen sent a survey team to Ha'olam to discover if it was worth harvesting any of the indigenous plants. Eurogen cut off the funding because they hit a cash crunch, but wouldn't let their employees out of their contracts. (PROSE: Seeing I)

After the Cyber-Wars, the EB Corporation changed its name to the Spinward Corporation. (PROSE: Deceit)

The colony world Raghi sold airavata to Spinward. (PROSE: Lords of the Storm)

Like many corporations in the 26th century, Spinward maintained a battle fleet of its own for use during the Second Dalek War and a presence on many colonies, including Heaven. (PROSE: Love and War) The corporation predicted the forthcoming end of the war and an increase in the power of Earth authorities. Spinward was ruled entirely from the Arcadian colony by Pool, who attempted to seize the TARDIS from the Seventh Doctor, but was neutralised. (PROSE: Deceit)

By the 28th century, the Spinward colonies were known as the Spinward Clusters. Julian had been their Sublime and Venerable Patriarch prior to becoming a priest. (PROSE: Companion Piece)
