A taxi driver picked up Donna Noble and the Tenth Doctor as they tried to get to Donna's wedding to Lance Bennett in St Mary's Church on 24 December. He told Donna that that day was double rates, and Donna realised that neither she nor the Doctor had money. The driver dropped the two off, Donna insulting him for not having any "Christmas spirit".
