Terrible Lizards was a novel in the Doctor Who 2 in 1 books range.

In Terrible Lizards, the Doctor and his companions join a group of explorers on a Victorian tramp steamer in the Florida Everglades. The explorers are searching for the Fountain of Youth, but neither they nor the treasure they seek are quite what they seem!

- This book was later re-released individually, and with a new cover, as part of the Eleventh Doctor Adventures. This edition was released as a ebook on 4 February 2016 and in paperback on 24 March 2016.

- The Doctor has encountered dinosaurs before in London during the seventies (TV: Invasion of the Dinosaurs) and in caves under Wenley Moor in Derbyshire.
