Justice mode was when the Teselecta utilised its non-lethal energy weapon to torture its victims, the unpunished criminals of history. Confronting Nazi leader Adolf Hitler in 1938, the Teselecta activated justice mode to torture him briefly before being interrupted by the Doctor's TARDIS, which inadvertently crashed into the Justice Department vehicle. Soon after, the Teselecta employed its justice mode to torture River Song, who was recorded as having murdered the Eleventh Doctor at Lake Silencio.
