Lecomte

General Lecomte was President of Haiti in the early 20th century.

When the Presidential Palace was blown up in 1912, it was believed that Lecomte was killed by the explosion. However, he was assassinated by followers of Tancred Auguste, who blew up the palace to conceal that he had been murdered. Jean Vilbrun Guillame Sam witnessed Leconte being killed.
