The USS Lexington was a Starfleet vessel. Following a mining disaster on Naia VII, the Lexington was sent with additional engineering personnel and equipment to aid the mining operation there. (COMIC: Assimilation²)
Behind the scenes
Though it remains unseen in Assimilation², the Star Trek canon establishes that the 24th century Starfleet vessel named Lexington was of the Nebula class.
