Francesco Mazzini was the brother of Carlo Mazzini and worked in the mining business as well. He was the uncle of Angelo Mazzini, brother of Maria Mazzini and was the uncle of twins Peter Mazzini and Paul Mazzini as well as Joe Mazzini. He had no children of his own.
He came to Argentia for his brother's funeral but was mostly interested to see whether he had inherited his brother's valuable estate.
He was eventually murdered by his nephew Angelo Mazzini.
