Angelo Mazzini

From Tardis Wiki, the free Doctor Who reference

Angelo Mazzini was the son of Carlo Mazzini and worked in chronoarcheology. He was the nephew of Maria Mazzini and Francesco Mazzini and was the cousin of twins Peter Mazzini and Paul Mazzini as well as Joe Mazzini. He had no children of his own.

His job involved time travelling to different periods of history and saving valuable artefacts. He had a ship that allowed him to do this.

At one point in his life when he told his father he was not interested in taking over the family business, his father was relieved, saying that he didn't have the "brains for business".

He came to Argentia for his father's funeral and brought with him a painting he had recently saved from Nazi Germany in 1944. He hid it away in Argentia's vault but was secretly using it as a decoy to trick his family members as part of his master plan.

It is revealed that his father left him the entire estate, nine billion credits. His family was extremely jealous of him because none of them expected it, since Angelo did not have a good relationship with Carlo.

He was eventually murdered by himself due to a paradox that was originally part of his plan but which the Doctor put a stop to and which ended up working against him.

He was implied to be in a relationship with his father's former assistant Sofia Cozzi, as they had planned the entire operation and were going to escape together.

In a potential future timeline that Angelo illegally observed, he was poisoned by his uncle Francesco. Disgusted by what happened and his family all fighting for the estate, he made a plan with Sofia to trap them all in Argentia and run away with the money before they had a chance to kill him and take it for themselves. He succeeds in murdering a past version of himself, Maria, Francesco and his cousin Paul before dying himself. (AUDIO: Serpent in the Silver Mask)
