FAB1 Back in Action! was a short story printed in TV Century 21 that contained elements from the Doctor Who universe. Framed as the front page of an in-universe periodical, the titular article instead made reference to the Lady Penelope content in the issue with a smaller piece tying-in to the The Daleks comic story The Menace of the Monstrons.
Summary
Even as reports come in from Skaro that the Monstrons are attacking the Dalek City, other reports, coming from from the Isle of Arran indicate that Lady Penelope's car has been repaired and made fully operational. Once again in full possession of the means necessary to do so, Penelope Creighton-Ward thus resumes her chase for the "Hawk".
Characters
References
- Lady Penelope's car is a Rolls-Royce, nicknamed "Fab One" as per her license plate FAB1.
- Penelope will be able to make up lost time in her attempt to track down the mysterious man who uses the call sign "Hawk". The Hawk has already made several attacks on her and her chauffeur Parker in order to reach the hiding place of a valuable ruby.
- The Space City Press Office has issued the news that Colonel Zodiac has mysterious disappeared. Commander Zero stated that contact with Fireball XL5 has not been broken.
- Zero went on to say that the three XL5 crew members split up to investigate the asteroid upon which they had landed and that Professor Matic and Doctor Venus had already radioed in their reports.
- News has just reached TV 21 from Skaro that Monstron invaders have launched an attack on the Dalek City.
Story notes
- This story is another crossover with Lady Penelope and Fireball XL5.
