Captain Jimmy Turner was a UNIT officer who served under Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart during the Cyberman invasion of Earth in 1975. (TV: The Invasion)
Biography
Shortly after the Cyberman invasion was defeated, Jimmy married Isobel Watkins, and was posted to Sri Lanka, (PROSE: The Scales of Injustice) where he was promoted to major. (PROSE: The Devil Goblins from Neptune)
According to another account, Jimmy's army career was threatened and he was forced to leave Isobel when, due to the machinations of C19, she became a standing joke on Fleet Street when her claims about Earth being invaded by aliens were not believed and her photographs of the Cybermen were dismissed as fakes.
