Godfather Gideon was a high-ranking member of Faction Paradox during the War in Heaven. His Faction Paradox mask was that of a silver human skull. (PROSE: A Bloody (And Public) Domaine)
He was House cousins with Auteur; the two of them abandoned the Homeworld to join the Faction. (PROSE: A Bloody (And Public) Domaine) Gideon joined the Faction earlier than Auteur. When Auteur was left skinless and dying following an encounter with Life, Gideon pleaded that Auteur be allowed to join the Faction so he could be saved. (PROSE: Going Once, Going Twice)
