... we're allowed to do the obvious thing. We're not an author wiki, we're a fan wiki; if 100% of fans read it and go "Yeah these are obviously Time Lords," that's what our coverage should say, too. This is the principle which lets us go, "Yeah, the Great Houses are the Time Lords, and the Homeworld is Gallifrey." :I think the Homeworld treatment requires that the term "gods" be used in the licensed story related to Time Lords. I did plan on making a discussion about this, but after the forum threads were back, since I wanted to have the original precedent to refer to. Aren't these just Time Lords?

By the principle set by the Faction Paradox threads, the wiki allows for a degree of transitive property. If

 1. a licensed work (Underworld) says "The Time Lords did things X, Y, and Z to the Minyans," and
 2. a later work that's licensed to use the Minyans (Omega) says "Things X, Y, and Z were done to the Minyans by this group who they called gods," and
 3. there are other licensed works which say "Time Lords are commonly seen as or called gods" (cf, like, a billion Doctor Who stories)

... we're allowed to do the obvious thing. We're not an author wiki, we're a fan wiki; if 100% of fans read it and go "Yeah these are obviously Time Lords," that's what our coverage should say, too. This is the principle which lets us go, "Yeah, the Great Houses are the Time Lords, and the Homeworld is Gallifrey." So in this scenario, can't we just come out and say that the Gods of the Minyans are Time Lords? – n8 () 02:06, 8 March 2021 (UTC)

I think the Homeworld treatment requires that the term "gods" be used in the licensed story related to Time Lords. I did plan on making a discussion about this, but after the forum threads were back, since I wanted to have the original precedent to refer to. Najawin 02:23, 8 March 2021 (UTC)
