The Roving Reporter was an unauthorised biography of Sarah Jane Smith written by "top American biographer" Kevin W. Parker and published by Ainssell and Co.. It sold out after a few years of publication, only for the publisher in question to eventually agree to some excerpts from the book being compiled into a newspaper article and reprinted in that form.
