Dame Harriet Walter, DBE (born 24 September 1950[1]) voiced Beatrice Mapp in the Big Finish Doctor Who audio story The Boy That Time Forgot. She was later named a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire, making her the first Doctor Who actress to achieve this honour.
She later played Jo Patterson in Revolution of the Daleks. Although Patterson had no scenes with the Thirteenth Doctor in this episode, Walter had previously worked with Jodie Whittaker in the 2014 mini-series The Assets. She also starred along side Bradley Walsh, Freema Agyeman and Peter Davison in Law & Order: UK, which was co-produced by Chris Chibnall.
She is married to Guy Paul.
