Pennines

The Pennines were a mountain range in the northwest of England, characterised by generally colder, snowier weather than obtained in most of the rest of the country. Christmases were inevitably white there, and the residents couldn't understand why other people always made such a big deal about the chance of snow during December. Greyfrith was a town in those mountains. (PROSE: Father Time)

Father Christmas claimed to have driven a sleigh above the Pennines. (AUDIO: Death in Blackpool)
