Professor Martinique was a 30th century academician.
He led an expedition to Iphigenia to investigate Aulis Crater, which he had determined was artificial. Exposure to the Nexus there let him see numerous alternate timelines and futures, driving him insane. He was interrogated by the Brotherhood, then had erased his mind and used his body as a tool to interact with the world outside the gestalt. (PROSE: So Vile a Sin)
