Montgomery was a testamentarian empire tour guide who showed the Fifth Doctor and Vislor Turlough. She showed them what they did with their criminals on the planet. She was named in honour of Field Marshall Montgomery. She was also a trained technician and went to help after the explosion. She was caught in a time wave and became mutated, dying.
