A Weeping Angel was present in Medderton in 1901.

After being sent back in time from 1967, Peggy was told by this Angel that she would be left alone now.

It eventually found itself on a road that led outside of the village. As Gerald and Jean found themselves in the same year after having been zapped back in time, they walked past this statue, blocking the direct view of Dan Lewis, Yasmin Khan and Peggy, allowing it to grab hold of Gerald. As he and Jean furiously tries the force it to let go, it turns them into stone rubble and kills them. (TV: Village of the Angels)
