The Viscoid was an "unending, thick soup of a foul-smelling ocean" which covered the whole of Gardezza. The Gardezzans lived within it in places such as the capital city, fleeing to seabed bases previously used for storage and energy distribution. (AUDIO: Beneath the Viscoid)
