A German officer confronted Melody Pond as she left the Reich Chancellery in Berlin in 1938. When she responded with a flippant remark about Nazi policy and attempting to kill Adolf Hitler, he ordered his men to shoot her.
Unfortunately for the soldiers, Melody was still regenerating after taking a stray bullet in Hitler's office; a burst of machine gun and rifle fire failed to have any real impact before she dispatched the officer and his troops with a blast of regenerative energy. (TV: Let's Kill Hitler)
