Peter Thomas (23 January 1936-5 January 2017[1]) played Captain Edal in the Doctor Who television story The Savages.
He shared his memories of the story on The Savages' edition of Big Finish's charity podcast series Toby Hadoke's Who's Round.

Besides his appearance on Doctor Who, Thomas is best known for his appearances in the films Witchfinder General and Tales from the Crypt. His television appearances included roles on The Avengers, Dixon of Dock Green, Z-Cars, The Plane Makers, No Hiding Place, The Baron and Department S.
