James Timothy Mulholland, sometimes credited as J. T. Mulholland, wrote the 2021 Faction Paradox: Dionus's War audio stories Call Me Ishmael and The Healer's Sin for BBV Productions. Subsequently, he wrote the novelisation of The Choice (and physically appeared in the trailer for the book, reading an extract from the book and elaborating on the process of creating B.E.S.) as well as the audio story B.E.S. Begins, a prequel to the events of the book.
