Melanie Jane Bush (born 22 July 1964) was a human.

A Life that Might Have Been

Had the Valeyard not interfered, she would’ve met the Sixth Doctor and later traveled with him. She would’ve been with him when he faced the Vervoids.

The Valeyard’s Course Corrections

In one timeline in which she never met the Sixth Doctor, she died of a brain tumour on Earth in 2012. This timeline was caused by the Valeyard sending Ellie Martin back in time to the day the Doctor was supposed to meet Mel, in which Ellie intercepts Mel so that way she is seconds off from meeting the Doctor. This would also lead to the Valeyard and Ellie facing the Vervoids, and doing a poor job, leaving only themselves and the Vervoids alive. (He Jests at Scars... (audio story))

In another timeline caused by mobile phone use, she died in the crash of the spaceship Nosferatu II while travelling with Sabalom Glitz. (He Jests at Scars... (audio story))

In yet another timeline, she travelled as the companion of the Valeyard. (AUDIO: He Jests at Scars)
