Panna was the fourteenth The Blogs of Doom short story, published in 2018 in Doctor Who Magazine 532. Like other features in the series, it narrated events in the life of a minor Doctor Who TV character before and after their involvement in the Doctor's life.

In this case, the subject of writer Jonathan Morris's attention was Panna from Kinda.

Summary

Panna explains some of the questions she's asked as a wise woman.

Characters

References

  • On Deva Loka, there's no disease, no bad weather, and their trees fruit in sequence all year round.
  • Kinda males are silent because of an ancient curse. One of Panna's predecessors as a wise woman told the males "Go away, and only come back when one of you has something intelligent to say."
  • Panna repeatedly states "wheel turns, civilisations rise...wheel turns, civilisations fall..."
  • Panna considers the Doctor to almost be as smart as a female.

Notes

  • The story deals with aspects of Kinda, but is independent of the overall plot.
