Alf was a man living in Victorian London. He told his partner Elsie that the appearance of a Tyrannosaur in the River Thames was part of a government conspiracy. He encountered the Half-Face Man, who complimented him on his eyes after he told him there was something wrong with the dinosaur's neck, that makes it look unreal. He then claimed he needed them to replace his own. The Half-Face Man attacked and butchered Alf, taking his eyes and burning the rest of his body as he had done with his other victims.
