Yakob was part of the resistance against the Last Great Time War. He witnessed Andreas being captured by the Deception Field and told Eris about it. He announced the breach of the shields. (AUDIO: Deception) He later demanded that Eris was to return to resistance and leave Filius and Castine. He was a double agent and reported to the Thirteenth Livia Caralis. He admitted this to Eris.
