Erina Lessak was a trainee engineer aboard the S.S. Pentallian under Commander Kath McDonnell and engineer Dev Ashton.

Originally from Torajii Alpha, Lessak's parents were rich and owned a chain of coffe houses. Erina was working as a waitress in one of these shops when she met Riley Vashtee of the Pentallian and was seduced with the idea of seeing the stars. (WC: 42 Prologue)

After spending several months aboard the Pentallian, seeing the stars hadn't turned out as she had expected, and she felt as if her crewmates and commander didn't take her seriously (WC: 42 Prologue), and she grew to be quite unenthusiastic of her job and coworkers. (DW: 42)

She was killed by Hal Korwin, who was at the time possessed by the sentient star Torajii. (DW: 42) She was survived by her mother and her brother, Stefan. (DW: 42 Prologue)
