Timmy Smith was a boy who, on the morning of 24 November 1963, invented the world's first Doctor Who joke;

"Knock knock!"
"Who's there?"
"Doctor!"
"Doctor Who?"
"Come along, Susan! Into the TARDIS, hmm?"

The joke went misunderstood by Timmy's friends, who had seemingly been watching ITV, instead of the first episode of Doctor Who, the night before. (NOTVALID: The Daft Dimension)
