Tom Ellis (born 17 November 1978[1]) played Thomas Milligan in the Doctor Who story Last of the Time Lords.

Career

Ellis is best known for his role as Lucifer Morningstar on the Fox/Netflix series Lucifer. Previously, he also played Gary in the BBC sitcom Miranda, opposite Miranda Hart, and has also appeared in series such as EastEnders, Merlin and The Catherine Tate Show. His film credits also include Buffalo Soldiers and Vera Drake.

He has two children with fellow Doctor Who guest star Tamzin Outhwaite.

BBC Newsnight once teased Ellis to be the next Doctor in a montage of actors to play the part.
